Genting Highlands - City of Entertainment

Here I am at Genting Highlands, City of Entertainment. I went there last Saturday with my sisters. We stopped at Shell Station just before the exit to Genting for our breakfast. We arrived around 11:30am.Immediately we went for Space Shot ride as there were still not many people queing there.Goshhh..my butt was not on the seat when it went down..kind of scary but it was fun. Then, we played most of the ride including the cockscrew, cyclone, antique car, spinner, flying dragon etc till night.Well, at night was better coz we can save time queing. I rode the Super Toboggan again just to get the different feeling at night. Before went home, we wandered around the First World Plaza to buy souveniers. For me, chocolate :-) We reached home around 11:40pm. Luckily, the weather condition was great when i drove down the hill. Haahhh...what a great weekend.. I wish I can play in the Theme Park all year long with The Genting Theme Park Annual Passport where I can save the cost and play with a peace of mind :-)

flymas.mobi - as easy as 1,2,3!

Ringggg...a long alarm suddenly woke me up from sleep. It was 7 O'clock in the morning. I am gonna fly to Singapore today for a business trip. I jumped off from my bed and took a quick shower.

Ohh..no..where is my flight itinerary..?? I tried to search in my bedroom and in my office briefcase but i couldn't find it. I might have left it at the office and it is not possible to go to the office and took it as I am running out of time. What should I do now..?? I quickly grabbed my handphone and thinking of to contact Malaysian Airlines (MAS) call centre to confirm if it possible to check in without the itinerary.

While searching for the number, suddenly I remembered that MAS had just launched it's MHmobile portal recently where customers may check their travel plan throught mobile. I saw the ad in the newspaper few days ago. I immediately typed http://flymas.mobi/ in my mobile web browser and I am in. By simply keyed in my 5 digits booking number and my name, I am able to view the itinerary and check other details as well. I was impressed with it because it was so simple and easy especially for first timer like me as no application to download or registration required.

On the way to KLIA by ERL, I surfed MHmobile portal to check on my flight status for any rescedule or delay. Luckily, my flight was on time. Even I didn't bring the physical flight itinerary with me, but now with Mhmobile portal, I can simply check in by showing a 2D barcode mobile boarding pass from my mobile. How convenience it is. With this, now we can go paperless and help to save the environment. Credit to MAS for this effort.

I arrived Singapore 1 hour later. All I can say, I enjoyed every minute flying with MAS. With comfortable seat, great in-flight entertainment, delicious mouth watering cuisine, quality in-flight shopping items and world-class cabin crew services, the experience was amazing until I forgot that I was actually thousand kilometres away from the ground. That is why MAS is a 5-star airlines as rated by Skytrax. Keep it up MAS.

Two days in Singapore, my schedule was tight with meeting with clients. Only on the 3rd day, I managed to find some free time shopping at Orchard Road and Chinatown. I bought quite a number of corporate suits and souveniers. Err..to be exact, a full of travelling bag. Luckily, I rented a car in Singapore. I cannot imagine holding shopping bags commuting by MRT. Besides, I managed to facebook-ing my travel itinerary with my family through MHmobile portal.

At night, I received a call from my boss asked me to fetch our important client from Hong Kong the next day. I am not really sure how to get to Changi Airport by car. What I did was to locate MAS office at Changi using the MHmobile portal anf followed the google map shown. It was good as I managed to arrived Changi in less than 20 minutes. Besides, I did check a latest flight arrival from MHmobile portal and found that a flight from Hong Kong had just landed in Changi.

After a whole day discussion, I managed to close the deal. I was so happy and it was time to fly back to KL. Without thinking twice, I took my handphone and searched for the best deals and offers exclusively for MHmobile portal user. I've found a pretty cheap ticket and quickly booked it. Actually, I can either hold or buy the ticket, but i chose the latter. I also chose to sit near the emergency door just because I can do that with MHmobile. No other valid reason.haha..

I arrived KLIA in the evening. Waiting for about 20 minutes for my bag, I realized that I have lost it. Yes, the bag full of corporate suits and souveniers. Luckily, I didn't put any other important things in the bag. So, I didn't really care so much. After lodged a report, I went home and had some rest. After 2 days, I checked through MHmobile portal for a baggage tracer and surprised that MAS has found it. I was so excited. Thank you MAS.

MAS new MHmobile portal is so convenient and user friendly. With this application, MAS is now accesible to everyone who own a mobile phone with web access at any time and anywhere. As the service is free of charge except the call charges levied under our mobile phone contract, users do not have to worry about the cost even when travelling oversea. Our personal data is safe because it is handled with latest security standards with statutory requirement. All I can say, MHmobile portal make my travel easier, so do everyone. Let's fly with http://flymas.mobi

Movie time

Last week, I watched two movies at TGV. Both were free as Setem i won a ticket from RTM and GI Joe was a treat from my cousin. Directed by Kabir Bhatia, Setem is a comedy genre movie. The storyline is simple, a few groups of people planning to steal a setem that worth millions dollar. They met at one point and realized that they had been fooled. Next...errr..go and watch it :-). There are few screenings left at TGV, KLCC. On Sunday, I went to Sunway Pyramid for GI Joe screening. If you love action-packed movie, you gonna love this. Besides, the CGI is excellent and it is worth to watch :-)
